Student opportunities and activities
At Ringrose Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.
Our programs include:
- school sport, athletics and inter-school gala days
- creative and performing arts groups and showcases including K-2 choir, Years 3-6 Choir, K-2 dance group, Years 3-6 dance group, Performance Dance Ensemble and art club
- cultural and language activities including Harmony Day activities
- excursions and incursions
- public speaking and debating teams and participation in enhanced competitions

- student leadership opportunities including School and Sports Leaders, Years 2-6 Student Representative Council (SRC) and library monitors.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our choir, dance and art clubs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in being involved in the department's Pulse Concert (Homebush) and Gimbawali Opera House performances including combined rehearsals and concerts.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world. Our excursions and incursions enhance learning opportunities connected to their class lessons.
