Ringrose Parents & Citizens Association (P & C)
Parents are the first educators of their children, and the Ringrose P & C aims to encourage parents to have an active role in the schooling of their children. We support the activities of our school in providing an education which is inclusive of all, irrespective of culture, gender, academic ability and socio-economic status.
Ringrose P & C welcomes all parents and carers to get involved, whether it be attending one of the monthly meetings, or helping out with a fundraising activity. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, at 7 pm in the teachers’ staffroom. It’s a great opportunity to come and find out what’s going on in the school and what the P & C are doing to support students, teachers and other parents. We also have a communication box in the office where you can drop us a line if you have a query or suggestion.
The P & C are aware of the time constraints many parents face and we try to offer opportunities to be involved at different times of the day and year, so you can choose what fits in with your busy life. We run the school canteen and uniform shop to provide valuable services to our school community, and any profits made in these ventures go back into helping our students. Parent volunteers are encouraged and welcomed in these areas – doing just one short shift a month is a big help and most kids are pretty excited to see you at their school!
Fundraising is a major activity of our group, and we aim to purchase resources or upgrade facilities that will make the most difference to our students.

- End of Term Discos for the students
- Biennial Fetes
- Mothers and Fathers Day Gift Stalls
- Chocolate and Slice drives
- Mufti Days
- Sausage Sizzles
We are constantly seeking new and exciting fundraising opportunities and ways in which we can have a positive impact on our school community.
